[6] The certification must include a statement that the student is in good academic
standing, has not violated that school's student honor code and whether or not the school
is aware of any negative information regarding character or fitness to become a member of the
legal profession.
[7] May be waived in the case of students transferring from
the University of Missouri - Columbia.
[8] The UMKC School of Law generates an
unofficial in-house transcript that is acceptable to most institutions. The transferring student
should be aware, though, that the school to which she is applying may insist upon an official
university transcript which must be requested by the student from the UMKC Registrar, 116
Administrative Center. Typically, the transcript must be mailed directly by UMKC, not by the
student.
