Air Travel to Ireland Study Abroad Program

Air travel is not included.  Arrangements for travel to and from Ireland are the student's responsibility.  We recommend that you consult your travel agent and request the lowest available fares from any reputable carrier or use the links provided below.  Air fares vary widely, so shopping is advisable.  Plan to fly into Shannon International Airport and return back to the U.S. out of Dublin International Airport( Most U.S. flights to Ireland stop at both the Shannon and Dublin airports, so you should still be able to obtain comparatively lower-cost "roundtrip" airfare rates.)   For travel planning purposes, your flight into the Shannon should arrive on the morning of Sunday, May 18, 2008.  This means departing the U.S. on Saturday, May 17, 2008.  We will arrange for group bus transportation to Dingle with a morning departure from Shannon International Airport on May 18.  Departure from Dublin should be on Saturday, June 14 unless you are making plans to extend your visit to Europe.
