

Ireland Study Abroad Eligibility Requirements
Registration is open to all US and foreign law students in good academic standing and to law school graduates.
Current law
students must submit a letter from their Dean or Registrar certifying good
standing.
Law school
graduates are required to submit an official copy of their transcripts or
certificate of graduation.
Practicing
attorneys may enroll for non-degree credit or to obtain CLE credits.
Graduate students
in curricula other than law may apply on a space-available basis.
Companions of
registered students may accompany and participate in tours and cultural
activities at a reduced rate on a space-available basis. (Companions must be
over 16 years of age.)
Registration
A $250 per person, non-refundable deposit must accompany your registration form. A second payment of $250 is due on March 2, 2009. Registrations received after February 27, 2009 (contingent upon space availability must include both the deposit and second payment (total of $500) to reserve space. The balance in full is due and payable April 13, 2009. Due to the non-refundable nature of our accommodations arrangements and host institutions policies, cancellation between April 1, and May 1, 2009 will incur a $500 per person cancellation penalty. If cancellation occurs after May 1, student owes the balance of program cost or $4,050. The remaining balance will be waived only if a qualified substitute is found to fill the vacancy and pays the full tuition price. Acceptance is on a first-paid, first-served basis and is subject to space limitations. If your registration is not accepted, the full deposit will be refunded. accompany the enrollment form. The forms are available for downloading and
printing in .pdf format. If making payment by credit card (Visa,

Cancellation Policy
UMKC reserves the right to cancel for insufficient enrollment or under extraordinary circumstances such as natural disaster, war, political instability or emergency. In such unlikely event you will receive a full refund, including the deposit, within twenty (20) days after the cancellation. If requested, the program director will use best efforts to arrange for the student to enroll in a similar program.
