Think about the following questions in conjunction with the readings:
Do you believe felony murder is appropriately first degree murder? Why? What interests are served that override the general rule that a state of mind with regard to the specific harm ought to be required for serious crimes?
Do you see how the courts have attempted to limit felony murder? Do you think these limits are appropriate? If not, what, if any, limits should there be?
