. . . you will learn the approach taken in Davis v. Beason was effectively overruled long before being clearly indicated as such in Shepard's.  Apparently, several Supreme Court cases from the early 1980s (and perhaps as early as 1943) "jettisoned" the approach to the Free Exercise Clause taken in Davis v. Beason.
