The following problems will be done in the instructional session with a librarian. Please skip for until your class session.

Problem 1:

Using the IDEN database of databases, try to find a source explaining Illinois state income tax law.  Use the connector and or quote marks around a phrase to string together the terms of your search phrase.  If you don't have a window open all ready for Westlaw, click here to login.  Search hints!

Problem 2:

Using "Lexis" find  a database which contains cases for the Federal Seventh Circuit as well as for Illinois state courts.

A
partner at your firm wants a good explanation from a secondary source on the legal issues of the "information industry."  Specifically, she wants something from a treatise by Nimmer (the Nimmers are well-known authors of treatises on copyright and intellectual property).  Can you find something on Lexis or
Westlaw?
